     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.¹ He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.).¹ He was a merchant banker and director of Morgan Grenfell and Company in 1975.¹

     Geraldine Ruth Helen Barrington is the daughter of Charles Barrington.² She married Anthony Euan Richmond-Watson, son of W/Cdr. Euan Owens Richmond-Watson and Hon. Gladys Gordon Catto, in 1976.¹

     Francis Ernest Herman Bennett was born on 5 November 1916.² He was the son of Sir Ernest Nathaniel Bennett.¹ He married Hon. Ruth Gordon Catto, daughter of Thomas Sivewright Catto, 1st Baron Catto and Gladys Forbes Gordon, on 14 February 1947.¹ He died on 7 February 2005 at age 88 at Camden, London, England.^3,2
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).¹
