     Stephen Cave held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He gained the rank of Quartermaster in 1803 in the service of the Bristol Volunteers.1 He lived at Cleve Hill, Gloucestershire, England.1
