     Major Patrick Norman Rose Cave-Browne was born on 5 January 1926.1 He is the son of Major Horace Cave-Browne and Alice Rose Weir.2 He married Mary Davy Cobbold, daughter of Lt.-Col. Montagu Francis Davy Cobbold, on 3 November 1956.1
     Major Patrick Norman Rose Cave-Browne was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Seaforth Highlanders and Rhodesia and Nyasaland Staff Corps.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 1st North Rhodesia Regiment.1 He lived in 2003 at 150 Greenbank Road, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1
