     Sir William de Windsor was born in 1132 at Bradenlove, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of William Fitzwalter de Windsor and Gwladus verch Rhiwallon.1,2
     In 1194 he accompanied King Richard I in his expedition to Normandy where he relieved Verneuil.3

     William Fitzwalter de Windsor was born in 1068 at Pembrokeshire, WalesG.2 He was the son of Walter fitz Otho.1
     He was Warden of Forests in Berkshire.3 He was Castellan of Windsor.3 He had all grants made to his ancestors for the custody of Windsor Castle and lands confirmed by Empress Maud.3

     He fought in the Battle of Mechain in 1070.1
