     Bernard Cayley was born on 22 August 1871.1 He was the son of Henry Cayley and Letitia Mary Walters.2 He married Gertrude Mary Large, daughter of J. C. Large, in 1904.1 He died on 8 July 1914 at age 42.1

     William Bernard Cayley was born on 17 September 1907.1 He was the son of Bernard Cayley and Gertrude Mary Large.2 He married Bronwen Young, daughter of R. C. Young, in 1935.1 He died on 28 October 1963 at age 56.1
     William Bernard Cayley was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Wye Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Indian Army.1
