     Deva Cayzer was born on 22 January 1923.1 She is the daughter of Sir Charles William Cayzer, 3rd Bt. and Beatrice Eileen Meakin.2 She married Lt.-Cdr. John Studholme Brownrigg, son of Admiral Sir Henry John Studholme Brownrigg, on 20 July 1946.1
     Deva Cayzer was 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.1 From 20 July 1946, her married name became Brownrigg.1 She lived in 2003 at 2 The Court, Ridgeway Lane, Lymington, Hampshire, England.1

     Lt.-Cdr. John Studholme Brownrigg was the son of Admiral Sir Henry John Studholme Brownrigg.1 He married Deva Cayzer, daughter of Sir Charles William Cayzer, 3rd Bt. and Beatrice Eileen Meakin, on 20 July 1946.1 He died in 1971.1
     Lt.-Cdr. John Studholme Brownrigg gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1
