     Lieutenant James Crosbie Caulfeild was born on 21 February 1892.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. James Edward Wilmot Smyth Caulfeild and Sophia Morley Parker.2 He died on 18 November 1914 at age 22, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion, Manchester Regiment.1

Grace Hardyman Caulfeild1

     Grace Hardyman Caulfeild was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Edward Wilmot Smyth Caulfeild and Sophia Morley Parker.2 She died on 27 December 1956, unmarried.1
     She fought in the First World War in 1914, in France, where she was mentioned in despatches.1 She was Matron of QAIMNS in 1932.2 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1948.1
