     Frank Clervaux Chaytor was born in 1884.1 He was the son of Arthur Chaytor and Evelyn Allen.2 He married Alice Hill, daughter of John Dickinson Hill, on 31 October 1922.1 He died on 2 April 1962.1
     Frank Clervaux Chaytor fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Wellington Regiment, New Zealand Infantry.1
