     Sir Ralph Henry Lawson, 4th Bt. was born on 27 September 1905.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Joseph Lawson, 3rd Bt. and Ursula Mary Howard.2 He married, firstly, Lilian Mary Chaytor, daughter of Sir Edmund Hugh Chaytor, 6th Bt. and Isobel Scott, on 26 October 1935.1 He married, secondly, Helen Beresford Cornelius, daughter of Richard Cornelius, on 11 May 1970.3 He died on 13 February 1975 at age 69.3
     Sir Ralph Henry Lawson, 4th Bt. was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Lawson, of Brough Hall, Catterick, co. Yorks [U.K., 1841] on 21 October 1947.1

     Isobel Clare Chaytor is the daughter of Sir Edmund Hugh Chaytor, 6th Bt. and Isobel Scott.2 She married, firstly, Major Hugh Manford Vaux, son of Major C. Vaux, on 12 September 1936.1 She married, secondly, Gordon William Ham in 1950.1
     From 12 September 1936, her married name became Vaux. From 1950, her married name became Ham.1
