     Captain Sir Frederic Thesiger was decorated with the Knight, Order of St. George of Russia.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801, as Aide-de-Camp to Admiral Nelson.1
