     James Coghill is the son of Sir John Coghill and Hester Cramer.1,2 He married Anne Pearson, daughter of unknown Pearson.3 He died on 4 September 1734.3
     James Coghill was Registrar of the Prerogative Court.3 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1
