     Bridget Chetwynd-Stapylton was born on 27 October 1924.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Granville Brian Chetwynd-Stapylton and Catherine Lyne.2 She married, firstly, Dennis Worsley Wilks, son of William Harrison Worsley Wilks, on 12 June 1948.1 She married, secondly, John Baron Sewter in 1978.1 She died on 24 October 1998 at age 73.1
     Bridget Chetwynd-Stapylton was with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force between 1942 and 1946.1 From 12 June 1948, her married name became Wilks. From 1978, her married name became Sewter.
