Patrick Wynne de Bathe was born on 29 April 1876.1 He was the son of General Sir Gerald Henry Perceval de Bathe, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Clare.1 He married, firstly, Violet Lindsay Wood, daughter of Nicholas Wood, in 1904.1 He and Violet Lindsay Wood were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Marjorie O'Brien, daughter of Captain Charles William O'Brien, on 26 July 1921.1 He died on 22 April 1939 at age 62.1
