     Anne Chaplin was the daughter of Sir Robert Chaplin, 1st Bt. and unknown Harrington.1 She married James Bateman, son of Sir James Bateman and Esther Searle, on 21 September 1721.1 She died on 7 March 1733 at Bath, Somerset, England.1 She was buried on 19 March 1733 at Well, Lincolnshire, England.1
     From 21 September 1721, her married name became Bateman.1

     Sir John Chaplin, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1711.1 He was the son of Porter Chaplin and Anne Sherwin.1 He married unknown Morris, daughter of William Morris.1 He died on 23 May 1730, without male issue.1 He was buried on 6 June 1730 at Tathwell, Lincolnshire, England.1 His will was probated in November 1730.1
     Sir John Chaplin, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Chaplin, of the Inner Temple, London [G.B., 1715] on 1 July 1728.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
