     Major Nigel Kingscote was born on 12 April 1729.2 He was the son of William Kingscote and Catherine Barnsley.1 He died on 28 June 1773 at age 44, unmarried.3
     Major Nigel Kingscote gained the rank of Major in the service of the Gloucestershire Militia.3 He became a Freeman on 26 May 1741, City of Gloucester.2
