Lieutenant Frederick George Gore was born on 26 July 1870.1 He was the son of Major James Arthur Charles Gore and Catherine Louise Bazalgette.1 He died at South Africa.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1900 in the service of the Thorneycroft's Mounted Infantry.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he won medals with clasps.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the West Kent (Queen's Own) Yeomanry.1 He fought in the campaign in South West Africa in 1915.1
