     Kate Antonia Hamilton was born on 9 June 1950.1 She is the daughter of Major Arthur John Digby Hamilton and Imogen Ann Chichester.2 She married, firstly, Robin Salt in 1972.1 She and Robin Salt were divorced in 1979.1 She married, secondly, Simon Peter Dewhurst in 1981.1
     From 1972, her married name became Salt. From 1981, her married name became Dewhurst.1 She lived in 2003 at Mulsford Cottage, Scarn, Malpas, Cheshire, England.1
