     Philip John Remnant, 4th Baron Remnant was born on 20 December 1954.² He is the son of James Wogan Remnant, 3rd Baron Remnant and Serena Jane Loehnis.^1,2 He married Caroline Elizabeth Clare Cavendish, daughter of Godfrey Herbert Richard Cavendish and Angela Margaret Jervis Officer, on 14 July 1977.¹

     Sir Griffith Williams, 1st Bt. was the son of Robert Williams and Elizabeth verch Gruffudd.² He married Gwen Bodwrda, daughter of Hugh Gwyn Bodwrda, before 1627.³ He died from 3 September 1663 to 3 December 1663.³
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire in 1651.³ He was created 1st Baronet Williams, of Penrhyn, co. Caernarvon [England] on 28 May 1658, during the Interregnum.³ He lived at Penrhyn, Caernarvonshire, Wales.³ He was created 1st Baronet Williams, of Penrhyn, co. Caernarvon [England] on 17 June 1661. He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire in 1662.³

     Gwen Bodwrda was the daughter of Hugh Gwyn Bodwrda.¹ She married Sir Griffith Williams, 1st Bt., son of Robert Williams and Elizabeth verch Gruffudd, before 1627.² She died circa 9 November 1674.² She was buried on 12 November 1674.²
     From before 1627, her married name became Williams.

     Sir Hugh Williams, 5th Bt. was born in 1628.² He was the son of Sir Griffith Williams, 1st Bt. and Gwen Bodwrda.³ He married Anne Vaughan, daughter of Henry Vaughan.² He died on 22 March 1686.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Williams, of Penrhyn, co. Caernarvon [E., 1661] on 29 December 1684.² He lived at Marle, Conway, Caernarvonshire, Wales.²
