     Margherita de Medici was born on 31 May 1612 at Florence, Italy.2 She was the daughter of Cosimo II de Medici, Granduca di Toscana and Maria Magdalena Erzherzogin von Österreich.2 She married Odoardo Farnese, Duca di Parma, son of Rainuzzio I Farnese, Duca di Parma and Margherita Aldobrandini, on 11 October 1628 at Florence, Italy.2 She died on 6 February 1679 at age 66 at Parma, Italy.2
