     John Jenney was born on 21 December 1596 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.1 He was the son of Henry Jenne and Mary Smythe.1 He married Sarah Carey, daughter of John Carey and Elizabeth Godfrey, on 14 November 1614 at Leyden, The Netherlands.1 He died on 28 December 1643 at age 47 at Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, U.S.A..1
