     Christian I Pfalzgraf von Birkenfeld was born on 3 September 1598.1 He was the son of Karl Pfalzgraf von Birkenfeld and Dorothea von Braunschweig-Lüneburg.1 He married Magadlena Katharina von Wittelsbach, daughter of Johann II Pfalzgraf von Zweibrücken and Catherine de Rohan, on 14 November 1630.1 He died on 27 August 1654 at age 55.1

     Magadlena Katharina von Wittelsbach was born on 26 April 1607.1 She was the daughter of Johann II Pfalzgraf von Zweibrücken and Catherine de Rohan.1 She married Christian I Pfalzgraf von Birkenfeld, son of Karl Pfalzgraf von Birkenfeld and Dorothea von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 14 November 1630.1 She died on 20 January 1648 at age 40.1
     From 14 November 1630, her married name became von Birkenfeld.1
