     Kathleen Eileen Moray Smith-Gray was born on 9 August 1878 at Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland.1,3 She was the daughter of James Maclaren Smith-Gray and Eveleen Pounden, Lady Gray.1 She died on 31 October 1976 at age 98 at 21 rue Napoleon, Prais, France.3
     Kathleen Eileen Moray Smith-Gray was also known as Eileen Gray.3 She was educated at Slade School of Fine Art, London, England.3 She was a furniture designer and architect.3
