     John Clarke was the son of William Clarke and Joane (?).2 He married Joane (?).1 He died in 1686, a daughter (married her cousin William, s of Gabriel Clarke, of Greinton).1

     Philip Clarke was born circa 1673.1 He was the son of William Clarke and Mary (?).2 He married, firstly, Jane Daunton.1 He married, secondly, Alice (?).1 He married Hester (?).1 He died on 11 December 1742.1
     He had five more daughters by his third wife.1 After 1700 he was in possession of his father's holding of Catcott Heath.1 He lived at Willake, Middlezoy, England.1 In 1714 he settled at Weston Zoyland.1
