     Philip Clarke was born circa 1673.1 He was the son of William Clarke and Mary (?)2 He married, firstly, Jane Daunton.1 He married, secondly, Alice (?)1 He married, thirdly, Hester (?)1 He died on 11 December 1742.1 He was buried at Weston Zoyland, EnglandG.3
     After 1700 he was in possession of his father's holding of Catcott Heath.1 He lived at Willake, Middlezoy, EnglandG.1 In 1714 he settled at Weston Zoyland.1
