     Reverend Charles Sidney Pepys was born on 1 April 1875.1 He was the son of Hon. George Pepys and Anna Eliza Foster.2 He married Adelaide Mary Elizabeth Cutts, daughter of Charles Duncan Cutts, on 14 August 1913.1 He died on 21 September 1927 at age 52.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.).1 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was the Vicar at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He held the office of Hon. Canon of St. John's Cathedral, Buenos Aires between 1914 and 1917.1 He was Chaplain of the Forces, during the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1
