     Hon. Lionel Tennyson was born on 16 March 1854.2 He was the son of Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson of Aldworth and Emily Sarah Sellwood.1 He married Eleanor Bertha Mary Locker, daughter of Frederick Locker-Lampson and Lady Charlotte Christian Bruce, on 25 February 1878.2 He died on 20 April 1886 at age 32 at Aden, on board the Chusan.1,3

     Eleanor Bertha Mary Locker was born in 1854.2 She was the daughter of Frederick Locker-Lampson and Lady Charlotte Christian Bruce.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Lionel Tennyson, son of Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson of Aldworth and Emily Sarah Sellwood, on 25 February 1878.3 She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. Augustine Birrell, son of Reverend Charles Mitchell Birrell and Harriet Jane Grey, on 5 May 1888 at St. Mary Abbott's, Kensington, London, England.2 She died on 10 March 1915.1
     From 25 February 1878, her married name became Tennyson.1 From 5 May 1888, her married name became Birrell.2

     Lady Charlotte Christian Bruce was the daughter of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Elizabeth Oswald.1,2 She married Frederick Locker-Lampson, son of Edward Hawke Locker and Eleanor Mary Elizabeth Boucher, on 2 July 1850.1 She died on 26 April 1872.2
     From 2 July 1850, her married name became Locker.1

Frederick Locker-Lampson1

     Frederick Locker-Lampson was born on 29 May 1821.2 He was the son of Edward Hawke Locker and Eleanor Mary Elizabeth Boucher.3,2 He was baptised on 8 October 1821 at Greenwich Hospital, Greenwich, London, England.2 He married, firstly, Lady Charlotte Christian Bruce, daughter of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Elizabeth Oswald, on 2 July 1850.1 He married, secondly, Hannah Jane Lampson, daughter of Sir Curtis Miranda Lampson, 1st Bt. and Jane Walter Sibley, on 6 July 1874.3 He died on 30 May 1895 at age 74.3
     He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)3 He was also known as Frederick Locker.1 On 12 March 1885 his name was legally changed to Frederick Locker-Lampson under the terms of the will of his father-in-law, Sir Curtis Lampson.2

     Alfred Browning Stanley Tennyson was born on 20 November 1878.1 He was the son of Hon. Lionel Tennyson and Eleanor Bertha Mary Locker.1 He married Hon. Margaret Cicely Drummond, daughter of James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan and Margaret Smythe, on 17 December 1912.2 He died on 28 February 1952 at age 73.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Leicestershire Yeomanry.1 He was Inspector of the Irish Local Government Board.2

Margaret Cicely Drummond was born on 13 February 1880.2 She was the daughter of James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan and Margaret Smythe.1,2 She married Alfred Browning Stanley Tennyson, son of Hon. Lionel Tennyson and Eleanor Bertha Mary Locker, on 17 December 1912.2 She died on 9 June 1963 at age 83.1
     From 17 December 1912, her married name became Tennyson.1

     James Alfred Tennyson was born on 26 November 1913.2 He was the son of Alfred Browning Stanley Tennyson and Hon. Margaret Cicely Drummond.1 He married Beatrice Aventon Young, daughter of Alexander Tolhurst Young, on 11 December 1954.1 He died on 24 October 2001 at age 87.2
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was Specialist in Navigation, on loan to Royal New Zealand Navy between 1953 and 1956.2 He was Assistant Queen's Harbour Master to Sheerness Dockyard between 1957 and 1959.1 He was with the New Zealand Government Service between 1959 and 1974.1

     Beatrice Aventon Young was born on 5 March 1927.2 She was the daughter of Alexander Tolhurst Young.1 She married James Alfred Tennyson, son of Alfred Browning Stanley Tennyson and Hon. Margaret Cicely Drummond, on 11 December 1954.1 She died on 26 April 2020 at age 93 at Waikanae, New Zealand.2
     She graduated from Victoria University, Wellington, New ZealandG, in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)3 From 11 December 1954, her married name became Tennyson.1

     David Harold Alexander Tennyson, 6th Baron Tennyson of Aldworth was born on 4 June 1960.1 He is the son of James Alfred Tennyson and Beatrice Aventon Young.1
     He was educated at Scots College, Wellington, New ZealandG.2 He graduated from Canterbury University, Christchurch, New ZealandG, with a Master of Engineering (M.E.)1 He lived in 2003 at F3/165 Clarence Street, Riccarton, Christchurch, New Zealand.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Tennyson of Aldworth, co. Sussex and of Freshwater in the Isle of Wight [U.K., 1884] on 5 July 2006.3
