     Gilbert Hugo Gordon Coventry was born on 31 March 1911.1 He was the son of Gilbert William Coventry and Georgina Blanche Bluett.1 He married, firstly, Alice (?) in 1948.1 He and Alice (?) were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Mary (?) on 19 November 1959 at Port Moresby, New Guinea.1 He died on 7 May 2001 at age 90, without issue.1
     Gilbert Hugo Gordon Coventry usually went by his middle name of Hugo.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Indian Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was a manager of the Kuala Muda Rubber Estate before 1960 at Kedah, Malaysia.1
