Somerset [U.K., 1859] on 7 February 1915.¹ He was Assistant Military Secretary to the Commander-in-Chief of India between 1916 and 1919.¹ He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset in 1932.¹
