     Rachel Caroline Maxtone Graham was born in 1897.2 She was the daughter of James Maxtone Graham, 15th of Cultoquhey and Redgorton and Margaret Ethel Kington-Blair-Oliphant.1 She married Greenough Townsend, son of Edward Mitchell Townsend, on 29 April 1926.1 She died in 1977.2
     From 29 April 1926, her married name became Townsend.1

     Greenough Townsend was the son of Edward Mitchell Townsend.1 He married Rachel Caroline Maxtone Graham, daughter of James Maxtone Graham, 15th of Cultoquhey and Redgorton and Margaret Ethel Kington-Blair-Oliphant, on 29 April 1926.1 He died on 10 October 1962.1
     Greenough Townsend gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the U.S. Marines.1
