     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron O'Grady, of Rockbarton, co. Limerick [I., 1831] on 11 October 1927.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Guillamore, of Cahir Guillamore, co. Limerick [I., 1831] on 11 October 1927.1
