     Robert Spear Hudson, 1st Viscount Hudson was born on 15 August 1886.1 He was the son of Robert William Hudson and Gerda Frances Marion Bushel Johnson.1 He married Hannah Randolph, daughter of Philip Synge Physick Randolph, on 1 December 1918.2 He died on 2 February 1957 at age 70.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland, Whitehaven Division between 1924 and 1929.1 He was awarded the Companion of Honour (C.H.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southport between 1931 and 1952.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1938.2 He held the office of Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries between 1940 and 1945.2 He was created 1st Viscount Hudson, of Pewsey, co. Wilts [U.K.] on 5 January 1952.1

     Robert William Hudson was born in 1856 at Staffordshire, England.1 He was the son of Robert Spear Hudson and Mary Bell.1,2 He married, firstly, Gerda Frances Marion Bushel Johnson, daughter of Robert Johnson.1 He married, secondly, Beatrice Sabina Gaudengio, daughter of Laurenzo Gaudengio, in 1932.1 He died in 1937.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1903.1 He lived at Bidston Court, Birkenhead, Cheshire, EnglandG.2 He lived at Danesfield House, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He lived at Villa Paloma, MonacoG.1

     Robert Spear Hudson was born on 6 December 1812 at West Bromwich, Staffordshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Reverend John Hudson and Sarah Spear.2 He married, firstly, Mary Bell, daughter of Samuel Bell, on 21 February 1854 at Crescent Chapel, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.2,3 He married, secondly, Emily Frances Gilroy, daughter of Peter Gilroy, on 15 September 1868 at Donnybrook, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2,3 He died on 6 August 1884 at age 71 at Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.2,3
     He was founder of Hudsons Dry Soap Powder in 1837.2 He lived at Bache Hall, Cheshire, EnglandG.1

     Hannah Randolph was the daughter of Philip Synge Physick Randolph.1 She married Robert Spear Hudson, 1st Viscount Hudson, son of Robert William Hudson and Gerda Frances Marion Bushel Johnson, on 1 December 1918.1 She died on 24 April 1969.1
     From 1 December 1918, her married name became Hudson.1 After her marriage, Hannah Randolph was styled as Viscountess Hudson on 5 January 1952.
