Sir Edmond Knightley1

     Sir Edmond Knightley was the son of Sir Richard Knightley and Jane Skenard.1 He married Ursula de Vere, daughter of Sir George de Vere and Margaret Stafford.1 He died on 12 September 1543.1
     He was a practising Sergeant-at-Law.1 He built the Great Hall at Fawsley.1 He had six daughters.1

     He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire.1 He lived at Fawsley, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight in February 1547.1 He also had four daughters.1

     Sir Richard Knightley was born in 1534.1 He was the son of Sir Valentine Knightley and Anne Ferrers.1 He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Seymour, daughter of Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset and Anne Stanhope.1 He married, firstly, Mary Fermor, daughter of Sir Richard Fermor and Anne Browne.1 He died on 1 September 1615.1
     In 1605 He was fined £10,000 by the Court of Star Chamber for acting on behalf of the Nonconformists.1 He lived at Fawsley, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He had numerous children by both of his wives.1
