     Phyllis Mary Higginson was the daughter of H. Pasley Higginson.2 She married Rear-Admiral Richard Anthony Aston Plowden, son of Charles William Plowden and Josephine Senior, in 1911.1 She died on 1 May 1968.1
     From 1911, her married name became Plowden.

     Anthony Ralph Plowden was born on 14 July 1926.1 He is the son of Rear-Admiral Richard Anthony Aston Plowden and Phyllis Mary Higginson.2 He married Elizabeth Ann Ferguson, daughter of John Ferguson, on 3 April 1959.1
     Anthony Ralph Plowden was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.1
