     He gained the title of Vicomte de Vismes.1

     Caroline Elizabeth Stephens was born illegitimately.1 She was the daughter of Sir Philip Stephens, 1st and last Bt.1 She married Thomas Jones, 6th Viscount of Ranelagh, son of Charles Wilkinson Jones, 4th Viscount Ranelagh and Sarah Montgomery, on 21 August 1804 at Fulham, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 17 June 1805, in childbed, without surviving issue.1 She was buried at Fulham, London, EnglandG.1
     After her marriage, Caroline Elizabeth Stephens was styled as Viscountess of Ranelagh on 21 August 1804. From 21 August 1804, her married name became Jones.1
