Hon. Harold Burge Robson was born on 10 March 1888.1 He was the son of Sir William Snowdon Robson, Baron Robson and Catherine Emily Burge.1 He married, firstly, Ysolt le Roy-Lewis, daughter of Colonel Herman le Roy-Lewis, on 27 March 1912.1 He and Ysolt le Roy-Lewis were divorced in 1920. He married, secondly, Iris Emmeline Abel Smith, daughter of Reginald Abel Smith, on 26 January 1922.1 He died on 13 October 1964 at age 76.1
Hon. Harold Burge Robson graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Northumberland Hussars.1 He was decorated with the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).2 He was decorated with the Croix de Guerre.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland.1
