     Thomas Robinson was the son of William Robinson and Mary Hall.1 He married Frances Smelt, daughter of Leonard Smelt.1 He died at Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, EnglandG, killed.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Parliamentary Army.1

     In 1610 he bought the estate of Rokeby, North Riding, Yorkshire from Sir Thomas Rokeby.1
