     Sarah McQuade was the daughter of Henry McQuade.² She married William Cochrane, son of Thomas Cochrane and Jane McKibben.¹ She died on 29 January 1877.¹
     Her married name became Cochrane.

     Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. was born on 21 December 1836.¹ He was the son of William Cochrane and Sarah McQuade.² He married Margaret Gilchrist, daughter of Richard Gilchrist, on 10 May 1865.¹ He died on 11 September 1904 at age 67.¹
     Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. was Governor Director of Cantrell and Cochrane Ltd, mineral and aerated water manufacturers.¹ He was chairman of Bray Township Commissioners.¹ He was invested as a Knight in 1887.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1897.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1899.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the City of Dublin.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.¹ He held the office of Alderman of Dublin.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Cochrane, of Woodbrook, Old Connaught, Bray, co. Wicklow, Lisgar Castle, Ballieborough, co. Cavan and Kildare Street, Dublin [U.K.] on 8 October 1903.¹

     Margaret Gilchrist was the daughter of Richard Gilchrist.² She married Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt., son of William Cochrane and Sarah McQuade, on 10 May 1865.¹ She died on 7 December 1901.¹
     From 10 May 1865, her married name became Cochrane.

     Richard Gilchrist Cochrane was born on 26 May 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist.² He died on 4 July 1871 at age 3.¹

     Henry John Nassau Cochrane was born on 13 August 1871.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist.² He died on 15 April 1892 at age 20, unmarried.¹

     Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 September 1873.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist.² He married, firstly, Ethel Amy Davis, daughter of John Henry Davis, on 8 June 1898.¹ He and Ethel Amy Davis were divorced in 1910.¹ He married, secondly, Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher, daughter of Erwin Albert Schumacher, on 12 September 1911.¹ He and Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher were divorced in 1933.¹ He married, thirdly, Flora Sandstrom, daughter of Fritz Arnold Sandstrom, on 23 February 1933.¹ He and Flora Sandstrom were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, fourthly, Margaret Eileen Cooper Fowler, daughter of John Wilfred Fowler, on 26 August 1948.¹ He died on 6 March 1952 at age 78.¹
     Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Connaught Rangers.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1904 entitled to practice as a barrister.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Cochrane, of Woodbrook, Old Connaught, Bray, co. Wicklow, Lisgar Castle, Ballieborough, co. Cavan and Kildare Street, Dublin [U.K., 1903] on 11 September 1904.¹ He was Gentleman-in-Waiting to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1908 and 1909.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.¹ He was a dramatist as Ernest Cecil: A Matter of Fact (Comedy Theatre, 1921 ) and Monica (Everyman Theatre, 1924).¹

     Sir Stanley Herbert Cochrane, 1st Bt. was born on 19 September 1877.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist.² He died on 23 October 1949 at age 72, unmarried.¹
     Sir Stanley Herbert Cochrane, 1st Bt. graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Dublin.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1911.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1912 in the service of the 7th Service Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Cochrane, of Woodbrook, Bray, co. Wicklow [U.K.] on 10 February 1915.¹ He was On his death his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Graham Cochrane was the daughter of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist.² She married Joseph M. Day on 27 December 1883.¹ She died on 30 April 1953, without issue.¹
     From 27 December 1883, her married name became Day.

     Joseph M. Day married Sarah Elizabeth Graham Cochrane, daughter of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist, on 27 December 1883.¹
     Joseph M. Day was a practising barrister.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.).¹
