     John Henry Fielding was born on 28 June 1919.1 He was the son of Geoffry Kenmil Fielding and Elsie Watkins.2 He married, firstly, Pamela Mary Barnard, daughter of John Alfred Spurdel Barnard, on 18 June 1948.1 He married, secondly, Grace McInnes Collins, daughter of William Collins, after 1986.1 He died on 2 August 1999 at age 80.1
     John Henry Fielding gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Leeds Rifles.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1939 in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1946.1
