     Jean Eleanora Ewing was the daughter of William Leckie Ewing.2 She married Thomas Mantell Fielding, son of Reverend Charles Fielding and Elizabeth Oakley Boyce, on 24 September 1856.1 She died in May 1898.1
     From 24 September 1856, her married name became Fielding.1

     Sir Charles William Fielding was born on 4 October 1863.1 He was the son of Thomas Mantell Fielding and Jean Eleanora Ewing.2 He married Florence Dixon, daughter of James Willis Dixon, on 15 August 1899.1 He died on 9 April 1941 at age 77.1
     Sir Charles William Fielding was Director-General of Food Production.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1917.1

     Rudolph Burton Fielding was born on 16 March 1902.1 He was the son of Sir Charles William Fielding and Florence Dixon.2 He married Frances Adelaide Graham Greene, daughter of George Greene, on 16 August 1939.1 He died on 29 October 1970 at age 68.1
     Rudolph Burton Fielding was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He graduated from Downing College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1924 with a Dilpoma of Agriculture (Dip.Ag.).1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for West Sussex in 1936.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Battalion, Sussex Home Guard.1 He held the office of County Alderman for West Sussex between 1946 and 1963.1
