     Major Arthur Richard Burch was the son of Arthur Rodney Burch.2 He married Sheila Evelyn Ormsby Cotton, daughter of Frederick Arthur Stapleton Cotton and Evelyn Mary Rogers, on 7 May 1940.1 He died on 11 February 1964.1
     Major Arthur Richard Burch gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Marines.1 He was decorated with the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1
