     Reverend Henry Bowen Cooke was born on 29 March 1797.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Cooke and Mary Bowen.2 He married, firstly, Juliana Mary Serjeantson, daughter of William R. L. Serjeantson, on 27 June 1822.1 He married, secondly, Georgina Helena Elizabeth Whigham, daughter of George Whigham, on 29 September 1864.3 He died on 27 February 1879 at age 81.3
     Reverend Henry Bowen Cooke was the Rector at Darfield, Yorkshire, England.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1
