     Thomas Scruton Odell was born on 4 May 1829.1 He was the son of Thomas Alexander Odell and Deborah Bartlett Crowte Scruton.1 He married, firstly, Ellen Bird, daughter of John Bird, on 6 January 1858.1 He married, secondly, Madeleine Roe, daughter of Thomas Roe, on 27 September 1864.1
     Thomas Scruton Odell lived at Kilcleagh Park, County Westmeath, Ireland.1
