     Hon. Matthew Henry Reynolds-Moreton was born on 4 August 1847.1 He was the son of Henry George Francis Reynolds-Moreton, 2nd Earl of Ducie and Hon. Elizabeth Dutton.1 He married Kathleen Louisa Seale, daughter of John Seale, in 1901.1 He died on 17 March 1909 at age 61, without issue.1
     Hon. Matthew Henry Reynolds-Moreton gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 78th Regiment.1 He held the office of Magistrate [New Guinea].1
