     Esmond Godrey Cory-Wright was born on 28 October 1908.1 He was the son of Dudley Cory-Wright and Alice Cross.2 He married, firstly, Amanda Menhinick, daughter of Edward Peter Menhinick, on 22 May 1931.1 He and Amanda Menhinick were divorced in 1942.1 He married, secondly, Pepita Jane Grey Bell, daughter of Harry William Grey Bell, on 9 July 1949.1 He died in 1989.1
