     Major Paul Robert Mayne Alexander was born on 16 September 1885.1 He was the son of Captain James Fane Alexander and Aurea Otway Mayne.1 He married Sybil St. John Murphy, daughter of Albert St. John Murphy, on 27 May 1915.1 He died on 7 January 1954 at age 68.1
