     Sir Harold George Dennehy was the son of John George Dennehy.1 He married Constance Isolda Alexander, daughter of Colonel Hervey Alexander and Mildred Maria Prideaux-Brune, on 27 May 1932, they were without children.1 He died on 12 March 1956.1
     Sir Harold George Dennehy held the office of Chief Secretary of Assam.2 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.).1
