     Michael John Andrews was born on 25 June 1819.1 He was the son of Michael Andrews and Margaret McCammon.1 He married Margaret Tripp, daughter of Thomas Tripp, on 29 September 1842.1 He died on 18 July 1882 at age 63.1
     Michael John Andrews was educated at Royal Belfast Academical Institution, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 He lived at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 He was the Manager of the Belfast Savings Bank in 1849 at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 He emigrated to New Zealand arriving in 1873.1 He lived at College House, Nelson, New Zealand.1

     Margaret Tripp was the daughter of Thomas Tripp.1 She married Michael John Andrews, son of Michael Andrews and Margaret McCammon, on 29 September 1842.1
     From 29 September 1842, her married name became Andrews.1
