     Captain Kenneth Mackenzie Wray was born on 7 June 1854.1 He was the son of George Cecil Gore Wray and Charlotte Margaret Waller.1 He married Grace Edwards, daughter of Benjamin Lloyd Edwards, in 1881 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1 He died on 5 October 1927 at age 73.1
     Captain Kenneth Mackenzie Wray was in the service of the 1st Austrlian Horse.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901, as a Captain with the 6th Imperial Bushmen. He was mentioned in despatches.1 He was invested as a Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1 He lived at Woollahra, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1

     Grace Edwards was the daughter of Benjamin Lloyd Edwards.1 She married Captain Kenneth Mackenzie Wray, son of George Cecil Gore Wray and Charlotte Margaret Waller, in 1881 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1
     From 1881, her married name became Wray.1
