     William Henry Atkinson was born on 28 August 1848.1 He was the son of Guy Atkinson and Anne Margaret Trench.1 He married Anna Moore, daughter of Lewis Moore, in 1877.1 He died on 7 May 1930 at age 81.1
     William Henry Atkinson purchased Cangort in 1907 from Lt.-Col. Guy Montague Atkinson, his nephew.1 He lived at Cangort, King's County, Ireland.1
