     Agnes (?) married William Barcroft, son of Robert Barcroft and Alice Ingham.1
     Her married name became Barcroft.1 In 1560 Agnes (?) and William Barcroft were freeholders Worsthorne Parish, Burnley, Lancashire, England.1

     Thomas Barcroft was born in 1605.1 He was the son of William Barcroft and Susan Rishton.1 He married, firstly, Mary Scarborough, daughter of Nicholas Scarborough, in 1637.1 He married, secondly, Ruth Fourness, daughter of John Fourness.1 He died in 1668.1
     Thomas Barcroft graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1631 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He lived at Barcroft Hall, Cliviger, Lancashire, England. He was the last member of the family in the direct male line to own the property, which he left to his second daughter, Elizabeth.1
