Lt.-Gen. Thomas Bligh was born on 14 August 1693.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Thomas Bligh and Elizabeth Naper.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Bury, daughter of unknown Bury, on 19 August 1737.1 He married, secondly, Frances Jones, daughter of unknown Jones, in October 1760.1 He died in August 1775, without issue.1
